International Workshop on Innovations and Trends in Brain Computing

Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (Digital University of Kerala) was established in 2020 by the Government of Kerala by upgrading the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K). It is a non-affiliating research and postgraduate teaching university in the state of Kerala to facilitate and promote studies, research, incubation and extension work in digital technologies and its application domains in science, engineering and humanities.
Digital University aims to be the prime mover of knowledge revolution in the country by focusing on research and education in science, technology and humanities relevant to the digital world. Keeping in view of the rapid pace of adoption and change, University is expected to provide a flexible learning path to each of the learner so as to discover themselves to excel in the new world. The University would strive to develop capability and purpose in its stakeholders, enabling them to find innovative solutions to large problems faced by the society, through adoption of appropriate pedagogies and learning environment. Focusing on knowledge creation, dissemination and application, Digital University would play a significant role in an effective transformation and growth of the society at large. The five schools of the University- School of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Electronics Systems and Automation, School of Informatics, School of Digital Sciences and School of Digital Humanities- will focus on development of high quality talent, research on issues of larger interest and to develop and implement solutions to hasten the pace of digital transformation.

Centre for Excellence in Brain Computing (CEBC): The centre aims to contribute in brain science research and develop Intelligent Digital Systems by analysing the human brain activity through brain computer interfaces and state-of-the-art AI Technologies. CEBC conducts research, training and developments focusing more on Machine Learning, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing etc. to solve real life problems. The recent work carried out in CEBC include the diagnosis of Neurodegenerative diseases, Algorithm and Connectome design, Saliency, Linguistics, Speech Recognition and many more. The centre is open for more collaboration and joint research in these areas.
